Concept
発想は、ひとつの問いから。
It all started with a simple question:
「音にカタチがなかったら？ 色もなかったら？」
答えはこの
“姿なき響き” だった。
“What if sound had no shape? No color?”
The answer became a presence without form, yet full of resonance.

The Story Behind
「スピーカーを作りたかったわけじゃない。 “音の場”を作りたかった。」
現代美術、フィールドレコーディング、音響彫刻 ── さまざまな領域から着想を得て、既存のセオリーに縛られない音の存在感を探りました。
私たちは、ただのスピーカーを作りたかったわけではありません。
空間に“消えて”、音で存在を主張する——そんな共鳴する彫刻を構想しました。
WWWAVESは、パブリックアート、インテリアデザイン、空間音響といった異分野の“変態”クリエイターたちのコラボレーションから生まれた、常識にとらわれないアートスピーカーです。
ボディ全体が透明アクリル製で、まるでホログラムのような見え方をしながら、全方位に広がる豊かな音色を響かせます。
その初登場は、2025年大阪・関西万博。ケンミン食品による「GF RAMEN LAB」に導入され、音と食、未来のライフスタイルが融合する空間演出を担いました。波打つような造形は“音の波動”であると同時に、“グルテンフリー麺の流れ”をも彷彿とさせ、視覚と味覚、聴覚を結ぶストーリーを描きます。
WWWAVESは、聴くための装置ではなく、耳で空間を感じ、目で音を聴くという体験への招待状なのです。

Inspired by contemporary art, field recording, and sonic sculpture, WWWAVES explores what it means to feel sound—without seeing the source.
We didn’t set out to design just another speaker.
We envisioned a resonant sculpture—a transparent, ambient presence that disappears into space while making its presence known through sound.
WWWAVES was born from a collaboration between creators in public art, interior design, and spatial acoustics—each with a “deviant” approach to their craft. The result is a speaker that defies the conventional. Its clear acrylic body vibrates entirely, producing rich, immersive sound that radiates 360 degrees.
Premiered at EXPO 2025 Osaka Kansai, in Kenmin Foods’ GF RAMEN LAB, WWWAVES harmonizes with a space designed around the theme of innovation in food and sensorial experience. The speaker’s rippling form evokes both sound waves and the flow of gluten-free noodles, turning sound into sculpture, and sculpture into narrative.
It’s not just an audio device—it’s an invitation to feel space with your ears, to listen with your eyes, and to rediscover wonder in the unseen.

1981 年北海道伊達市生まれ、都市空間と人間の関係性に興味を持ち、人々が精神的に都市空間とつながる手助 けとなるよう、公共空間での彫刻作品を制作・設置する取り組みをおこなっている。
主な作品に銀座 4 丁目 宝童稲荷神社参道“猿結参道”(2016 年、銀座)、MIYASHITA PARK SHIBUYA のボ ルダリングウォールのシンボルアート”YOUwe.”(2020 年、渋谷)、高さ 5.7m の大型彫刻 ”Find Our Happiness”(2021 年、中国中山市)、”IYMMTRSTN.” 2023(愛知県 犬山市 名鉄犬山遊園駅)、”HEY.” 2024(東 京都 天王洲 EZO HUB TOKYO)がある。

Graduated from the Department of Sculpture, Musashino Art University in 2006.
Motoka Watanabe explores the relationship between urban space and the human spirit, creating sculptural works that help people connect more deeply and emotionally with the environments they inhabit. Her practice centers on placing public artworks in cities as a means of cultivating these connections.
Notable works include:

Masakazu Sorayama began his career at TOA Corporation in 1995, working in sound and BGM consulting for commercial facilities and financial institutions in the Japanese market.
In 2012, he was transferred to TOA CHINA LIMITED in Shanghai.
By 2014, he was appointed Chairman of the Board and Director of the East Asia Division, leading the company’s business development across the region.
In 2018, he returned to Japan and continued to work in the domestic sound space industry.
In April 2023, he founded Sounds of Life Japan, a company dedicated to the design and consulting of immersive audio environments both domestically and internationally.
His current focus is on developing new forms of entertainment and lifestyle experiences that explore the relationships between sound and taste, sound and scent, and other sensory pairings. He collaborates with confectionery brands, beverage companies, office furniture makers, and more to create experiences that stimulate the senses in unexpected ways.

Tomohiro Iida founded his design studio design toka in 2016.
The studio specializes in interior design for residential and commercial spaces, as well as renovations and graphic design. In addition to client work, Iida actively conducts creative workshops for children, aiming to nurture imagination and hands-on expression.
