YOKOHAMA ART in Summer ミナトノアート ＋
「ミナトノアート」は、横浜市のまちなかで、様々なアーティストやギャラリーに発信や活躍の場を提供し、新たなコミュニティを創出してきたアートイベントです。このイベントからアート活動を始め、現在活発に活動しているアーティストも多くいます。 横浜のローカルアートシーンを知ってもらい、アートを通じて横浜の街の魅力を感じてほしいという思いで、企画・運営をおこなっています。
「ミナトノアート」では、横浜市民を中⼼とした⼀般の⽅々に、アートが身近な存在であることを伝えるため、公共空間で積極的に開催してきました。 今回の横浜市役所での展示「ミナトノアート＋」では、美術家・日下部泰生（Taiki Kusakabe）の立体造形プロジェクト「KU KAN」と、パブリックアーティスト「WA!moto. ”Motoka Watanabe”」の作品を展示します。さらに、七夕をテーマにしたワークショップも開催します。
2組のアーティストによる大型立体作品のインスタレーションは、観る者に新しい視点と感動をもたらし、巨大な空間全体をアートで満たします。週末の3組のアーティストによるワークショップでは、参加者が実際にアートに触れることで、創造性と触覚の刺激を通じて深い没入感を味わうことができます。 「ミナトノアート」のエッセンスを一つの空間で体感することで、アートの力をさらに深く感じることができるでしょう。
「ミナトノアート」はこれからも、横浜のローカルアートシーンを発信し、港町横浜の魅力を伝えていきます。

Minato no Art is an art event held in various locations throughout Yokohama, including public and commercial facilities, as well as shopping streets. This event has provided a platform for various artists and galleries to showcase their work and engage with new communities. Many artists who started their careers at this event are now actively working in the art scene.
The goal of Minato no Art is to introduce the local art scene of Yokohama and to help people feel the charm of the city through art. The event is planned and managed with this vision in mind.
Minato no Art has been actively held in public spaces to communicate that art is an accessible and integral part of daily life for the citizens of Yokohama. The upcoming exhibition, Minato no Art +, will be held at the Yokohama City Hall atrium and will feature works by sculptor Taiki Kusakabe’s project “KU KAN” and public artist WA!moto. “Motoka Watanabe.” Additionally, a workshop themed around Tanabata will be conducted.
The large-scale installations by the two featured artists will provide new perspectives and inspiration for the audience, filling the expansive space with art. The weekend workshops by three different artists will offer participants the chance to engage with art directly, experiencing deep immersion through creativity and tactile stimulation. Experiencing the essence of Minato no Art in one space will allow visitors to feel the power of art more profoundly.
Minato no Art will continue to promote the local art scene of Yokohama and convey the charm of this port city.

1981年北海道伊達市生まれ、都市空間と人間の関係性に興味を持ち、人々が精神的に都市空間とつながる手助けとなるよう、公共空間での彫刻作品を制作・設置する取り組みをおこなっている。
主な作品に銀座4丁目 宝童稲荷神社参道“猿結参道”（2016年、銀座）、MIYASHITA PARK SHIBUYAのボルダリングウォールのシンボルアート”YOUwe.”（2020年、渋谷）、高さ5.7mの大型彫刻 ”Find Our Happiness”（2021年、中国中山市）、”IYMMTRSTN.” 2023（愛知県 犬山市 名鉄犬山遊園駅）がある。

Born in 1981 in Date City, Hokkaido, she has an interest in the relationship between urban spaces and human beings. She undertakes initiatives to create and install sculptures in public spaces to help people connect spiritually with urban spaces. Some of her major works include “Saru Musubi Sando” at Hodo Inari Shrine Approach in Ginza 4-chome (2016, Ginza), the symbolic art “YOUwe.” on the bouldering wall at MIYASHITA PARK SHIBUYA (2020, Shibuya), the large sculpture “Find Our Happiness” standing 5.7 meters tall (2021, Zhongshan, China), and “IYMMTRSTN.” (2023, Inuyama Yuen Station, Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture).
WA!moto. is an initiative by Motoka Watanabe that aims to create an invisible public by connecting people, spaces, environments, cultures, and generations through the keyword of humanity scale.

自然の造形美や幾何学そして日本人の精神性をモチーフとした造形作品や絵画作品を制作する。 阿佐ヶ谷美術専門学校卒業後、野外フェスティバルなどでのライブペインティングや空間演出を手掛ける。 近年では光と反射の空間作品を創り出すインスタレーションアート集団「MIRRORBOWLER」のアートディレクターも務めている。 KU KAN は、美術家・日下部泰生（Taiki Kusakabe）が主導する立体造形プロジェクト。
He creates sculptural and painting works inspired by the natural beauty of forms, geometry, and the spirituality of the Japanese people. After graduating from Asagaya College of Art and Design, he engaged in live painting and spatial design at outdoor festivals. In recent years, he has also served as the art director for the installation art group “MIRRORBOWLER,” which creates spatial works utilizing light and reflection. KU KAN is a three-dimensional art project led by artist Taiki Kusakabe.

7月6日（土）と7日（日）には、子どもから大人まで楽しめるアートワークショップも開催いたします。大型アート作品の展示を楽しむだけでなく、ワークショップに参加してご自身のアート作品を創作することもできます。創造性に満ちたクリエイティブな空間で、アートに浸るひとときをお過ごしください。

Additionally, on Saturday, July 6th and Sunday, July 7th, we will host art workshops that can be enjoyed by both children and adults. Not only can you enjoy the large art installations, but you can also participate in workshops to create your own art pieces. Spend some time immersing yourself in a creative space full of artistic inspiration.
