Nine Incentives H.
A monument for the UNESCO World Heritage site, the KITAKOGANE Shell Mound, located in Date City, Hokkaido. This shell mound from the Jomon period symbolizes the history of Date City and the beautiful nature of Hokkaido. The nine rotating scallop shell monuments powered by the wind are devices designed to enable viewers to experience the natural phenomenon of the wind blowing continuously in the same place from ancient times to the present day.

縄文時代のこの貝塚は伊達市の歴史と北海道の豊かな自然を象徴しています。
風の力で回転する9つのホタテ貝のモニュメントは、太古から今まで同じ場所に吹き続ける風という自然現象を実感させるための装置です。
